Product Description
Fiback : Fiberglass Weld Backing Tape
Weld backing tape eliminates the need for back purging
It has two adhesive areas, at outer edges & at center zone
The center zone is of fiberglass resistant upto 550deg & capable to withstand applications between 300 & 600 amps
As it is soft it conforms well with irregular surfaces
These tape is ideal for pressure vessels, large bore pipes, fabrication, shipbuilding, sheet & pipe welding, etc
These tape is suitable for TIG, MIG & SMAW applications & is compatible with carbon, alloy, stainless steels and aluminum
It enables the welder to save time on weld preparation & improves project timeliness
After welding is complete, the tape can be removed from the backside of the root gap.
